Here are some oler photos of the new boat that I bought. It is a John Welsford designed Tread Lightly trailer sailer. The boat is 13ft long, weighs 350kg with ballast (90kg lead). It is solid and well designed. Obviously I would prefer an outrigger canoe, but these are very hard to find second hand, thus I went for something that I can use for a couple of years, before moving on, the boat should be good for improving my boating skills, and knowledge of boat design.
