This boat is only 22 inches wide at the bottom. Gary Dierkings boats, like the Waapa, are generally 24 inches wide and they do not pound so it should not be a problem. The SoKanu has a pretty generous amount of rocker which will help it ride up a larger wave as it cuts through it. It is 18ft long. Total width will be about 9 feet 3 inches. The width from center of main hull to outrigger is about 6ft. |
