Just some rough sketches of a 28ft canoe. Rig could be based on two mast lug sail of Micromegas 3. Overhanging ends come from Anuta canoe. Cabin aft arrangement inspired by Dick Newick Somersault 26 trimaran. Possible hard chine hull could be roughly based on the 23ft Kir-8 canoe

The last sketch shows an insight into how I figure out some designs. In this case I am comparing sail areas for vessels of similar weights. Before sketching out this boat I saw a Wharram Tki 21 close up on the water. Two things struck me, firstly how well built it was, and secondly, how absolutely tiny the cabins were
